Progression is not necessarily better...

How appropriate is this cartoon? It's so easy to get caught up with emails, blogs, and short messages, that we often fail to genuinely connect. I've certainly been guilty of not reaching out directly as much as I should. But, I'm trying to get better. There's nothing like going to a game with a friend, sitting across from someone else at a table and chatting, opening up a personalized card that you received in the mail (US mail), or talking on the phone late at night. As much as I am enjoying writing this blog, I am going to try to save the personal details for personal conversations. I love my family and friends. And, I intend to try to let each one of them know how much they mean to me (directly) this year. I hope to hear from you too.
